We are able to cater to all of our clients’ needs by utilizing the entire company’s skills and resources worldwide, regardless of where the clients are located. As a result many of our clients have been working with us for more than 10 years.

Chimney employs more than 400 people globally and is privately held by 60. Our vision is to create a world without boredom. We believe that those who work with us are passionate about what they do, which is why Chimney is owned by the team.  

THE STORY

In the early 1990’s, Henric Larsson, Chimney’s Founder, began working as a producer on TV show trailers. As a computer nerd since the age of 11, he was immediately hooked by post-production and began learning more about what inevitably would inspire the direction of his career. While working at MTV on the reality show Real World Henric saw an opportunity. In 1995, as one of the first post-production companies in northern Europe, Chimney finally opened its doors in Stockholm.

Business quickly took off and Chimney’s reputation soon spread across Europe. An increasing number of clients no longer went abroad for post-production services. Instead, international clients began flying in to Stockholm for Chimney’s services. As a result of the success, new offices in local markets were established. Today, Chimney has a global footprint with over 400 employees at 14 offices in nine countries around the world.
