Wind River Case Study

Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen deliver a chilling vision of the violence that still occurs in the American wilderness. However, the cowboy hat and strong female lead didn’t appeal to younger males. The answer was a redband trailer and gritty TV spots that gave audiences a clearer vision of Tyler Sheridan’s best film so far. The grittier materials helped a film produced for $11 million dollars generate $33 million at the box office.
